Use the first year to try your idea and if you still want the domain once the year is over, transfer it elsewhere. Just make sure to cancel the automatic renewal that would cost ~€35/year and will be charged around 1+ month before the expiration date. Ideally, use a disposable or soon-expiring debit card for your purchase.
