Crop a photo for Instagram without any weird or unnecessarily paid apps

## Adobe Photoshop Express (free) 1. Select and open the photo to crop 2. Go to "Crop" → "Basic" 3. Making sure "Aspect Ratio" is selected, shoose "2×1" or "3×1" (there doesn't seem to be a way to crop to a higher ratio, 4×1 and above) ## Affinity Photo (paid) This subscription-less Photoshop alternative from Affinity a paid app, but if you get it on a sale, you can use it for many other features. 1. Select and open the photo to crop 2. Choose "Crop Tool" on the left 3. Under "Mode" select "Custom Ratio" 4. Enter your ratio, e.g. "4" for X and "1" for Y and hit apply
