  • If you already have a SIM card from another EU country, you can get through initially thanks to the EU "roam like at home" rules introduced back in 2017. Your existing plan should have some data so that you don't have to buy something, anything right away and without due research
  • As a rule of thumb, avoid the large operators such as 3, TDC, Telenor, Telia as you will most likely be overpaying

Most carriers will let you choose a new number when buying a subscription, often only after you log in via NemID/MitID. You can either search for the full desired number, or at least search for a specific digit combination.

Datadeling

You want a subscription with a datadeling/datadelingskort - an option to add extra sim cards to your account and share your GB data allowance between devices without having to buy an extra subscription; an extra sim card will normally cost around 30-60 dkk
